Hello heroes,
Please do not be alarmed or confused.
This has nothing to do with a ban that has to be pronounced because of system critical problems.
But what is it then?
To explain: A ban list where players are asked to refrain from using certain cards or to accept restrictions in the first two weeks after the end of the season and the start of the new one.
Selected cards would be restricted or prohibited every month for the specified period.
However, this requires your acceptance as well as your help.
The goals are:
- A larger deck variety
- The involvement of smaller players through more balanced fights
- Avoiding too strong combinations (so-called one-turn killers or unbreakable combos)
As mentioned, this would only apply for the first two weeks, after which the players can fight again with all means to advance in the ranking.
The intensions are good but I don't think this will work. It's only enough if one person "breaks the rules" and plays the banned card, someone else will get upset and start playing it too..
U mention balanced fights and avoiding unbreakable combos (one turn victory), just ban (nerf) awakened Lust - problem solved. Most of us don't want that card anyways.
There's no punishment for using the "banned" cards, as Aleka said, it would only take one player to use it for everyone else to start using it again.
You should implement punishments for using the banned cards, if you're provided with a screen shot including date and time, then you should be able to do something to that player who broke the ban.
another way to possibly help balance fights would be making the miniumum deck size higher... and can make it so only 1 lust allowed in a deck
As it's voluntary there's probably no way to enforce this. There's no punishment for using the "banned" cards, as Aleka said, it would only take one player to use it for everyone else to start using it again.

deck size yes! always said it should be bigger size and make skills useful again. sadly I do not see this working unless punishment is at hand. very nice idea!
