[Official] Flash Player

Dear Heroes,

Adobe’s Flash-Player coming to an end surely raised some questions about the future of Kings and Legends, with the two most common being:

What is going to happen to Kings and Legends? Are you working on a solution?

This thread will focus on answering most of your questions (concerning Adobe’s Flash-Player).

Adobe made an announcement that there won’t be any further updates and downloading the Flash-Player won’t be supported anymore.
As a result, many popular browsers like Chrome, Firefox and Safari won’t be able to read or run swf. files anymore.

It is our goal, of course, to keep the game running, even though Adobe shuts down the Flash-Player services.
We are currently working with the developers, in order to make sure that the Flash-Player’s fate will not be the end of Kings and Legends.
There is a great number of possible solutions and we are waiting for the developer to decide on one.

The first option is to convert the game into HTML5.

Another option is to use an Open-Source Converter, meaning, converting swf. files into other - readable - types of files.

The last option is to transfer the game to an external “client”. As a result, the game could be played within a non-web-based session.

Probably there will be still browsers that are compatible with swf. files. Nevertheless, we are working on a solution that satisfies everybody.

Your Kings and Legends Team.
