Team gamigo

Dear Community,

Have you noticed the new user-group on the forum?
It is made up of all kinds of gamigo employees, which is why we have named it ‘Team gamigo’.
Let us explain why:

As we have numerous games across different Territories with varying Team-sizes attributed to them, we wanted to ensure that important information can always reach you, regardless of who is on Sick-leave, Vacation or kidnapped by pirates. So we decided to create a dedicated Forum User that will be shared between a number of Staff, so there will always be someone around to make sure you get the info you need. When scrolling through the member list of this new group, you may notice that a lot of Community Managers are listed.

These Community Managers are here to assist multiple games where they can. This will primarily mean creating News, Event and Official Announces from the Product Manager or gamigo to the community. As they are responsible for dealing with multiple games, they will not be available to assist on a day-to-day basis, unless in emergency situations.

Please do not be offended if they do not reply or respond to generic game questions, interfere in the volunteer team duties for the game you play, nor override decisions made by your Product Manager.

It should also be noted that these Community Managers will not be required to log-in on a daily basis and check their private messages. In fact, their Private messages may be disabled. Only when they are needed to create a post due to absence of the currently assigned Team or volunteer-member, will they be present.

Since other gamigo employees are listed, you might wonder if they will also post stuff in the forum. The answer is: maybe ;)
This depends on what might need to be said or done. The ‘rules’ for these other ‘Team gamigo’ members, are the same as for the Community Managers though. They also are not required to log-in on a daily basis, however, and their private messages will generally be closed.

With this change, we hope to ensure you are updated in a timelier fashion, even if the responsible normal Team-member is not available for some reason.
