F2P Forbidden zone

Hey guys!

As to no surprise i will be going for at least 3000 points in the forbidden zone. This is a change for me as F2Per to get my hands on some VIP packs. So now i'm curious about the expected value of the Master and King Packs and the community opinion.

Should i go for 6 Kings or 2 Masters and why?
thanks!

Y

i think u got that backwards but 2 kings i would say cause chance (although slim) at godlike and reasonable chance at elite legends i usually just get legend gems cause they can either be used for equipment enchant or turned into more gold

Yeah, kings and masters packs have such a low rate of decent cards that they're essentially worthless. You're better off using your points to buy legend / epic gems which you can convert into more gold, which you can use to buy cards on AH.

Yup. convert to gems, get more gold. Auction house is the best way to go!

Thanks for the replies.

Interesting idea to go for gems, i'm kinda of a gambler so i will still go for the packs probably.

Yeah that's exactly how these kinds of games make you waste money, by appealing to the gambler :P

Yeah it is best to trade gems for gold and use them in AH to buy other things. If not you will likely open the packs and then wish you hadn't afterwards. But by all means open the packs if you wish... only way to learn. :D^^

When I was new to this game, I bought 10 King Packs for RL money.
I got 2 Legendary cards (a stupid Elf Mage and a Rotting Skeleton) plus lots of Epic junk.
Considering I could have gotten things like a Wheel or Cupid off the Auction House for that money, I feel dumb.

You won't feel much smarter when buying King's Packs from Froobzone points.

Epic gems all the way.
